| I forgot my password, help! |
| You can reset your password by clicking here and following the instructions. You will need to enter the email address that we have on file for your account. We'll then email your new password to that address. |
| I can't create an account. |

If someone is using your email address please go to the Reset Password page to have the password of the account reset and sent to you. You can then go to 'Account Settings' and click on 'Cancel my Account' to remove the account using your email address. If you sign up with your email address, then no one else will be able to use it!
If you have tried all of the above and you were not able to resolve your issue, send us an email describing how far into the account creation process you were able to complete as well as the error you received. |
| I can't login to my account. |
Solutions:
- Make sure you are logging in with the correct username and password!
- Clear your browser's cookies and temporary internet files, then try again!
It is possible your profile was deleted if it violated our terms and conditions. To check, do the following:
- Find your profile on the site. The best way is to type in your URL into the address bar (for example, www.naughty-net.com/yourusername). You can also find yourself by doing a search on your name or email.
- Check for comments you posted on your friends profiles
If you try the above steps and still cannot login, contact us. |
| I forgot my username. |
| If you can't remember your Naughty-Net username, you can also use the e-mail address that you have listed with your account as your username when logging in. You will be forwarded to your profile upon entering your e-mail address as your username (and your account password). |
| How do I change my e-mail address? |
| Visit the Account Settings page to change your e-mail. You will be asked to verify your new e-mail address. |
| How do I change my password? |
| Visit the Account Settings page to change your password. You will need to enter your current password and your new password in order for the password change to take effect. |
| Someone is using my e-mail address without permission, what can I do? |
| Please go to Reset Password to have your account password reset and sent to you. You can then go to 'Account Settings' and click on 'Cancel my Account' to remove the account using your email address. To prevent this from happening again, you can sign back up with your e-mail address, so noone else can use it! |
| How do I change my personal information? |
| This depends on what information you are looking to change! Visit Account Settings and browse through the options. On that page you will see tabs at the top linking to more settings pages, such as Privacy Settings and Edit Profile. All of your personal information can be accessed and changed on these pages. |
| How do I set my profile to private? |
| You can set your profile to private in the Privacy Settings page. Select "My Friends Only" under "Who can view my profile". To change it back, visit the Privacy Settings page again and choose "Public" instead. |
| How do I delete my account? |
Keep in mind, canceling your account will PERMANENTLY REMOVE all of your profile information from Naughty-Net, including your photographs(if profile only, unless otherwise specified), comments, blogs, and your personal network of friends. This information cannot be restored. You may re-register with your current email address after canceling, but you will need to rebuild your personal network from scratch.
Make sure you are logged in! Visit the Account Settings page, click 'Cancel my Account' at the top and follow the instructions.

| How can I report/remove a [fake profile/user stealing my pics]? |
In order to verify the profile is fake, we need a "salute". A salute is a picture of yourself holding a handwritten sign with the word Naughty-Net.com and your username. This will allow us to remove the profile using your identity without your permission.
Please include the address of the profile in question, so we can promptly remove it if found to be fake.
You can also report a user stealing someone else's images, but you will need to provide proof. Proof can be provided by a salute from the user whose images are being used. If you do not have a salute, contact the rightful image owner so they can make a salute.
If the profile is extremely obvious in being cruel/fake, you may not need a salute for proof, but this will speed the process!

| Is Naughty-Net really free? |
| Absolutely! Every feature and function you currently see on the site is FREE. Naughty-Net is supported solely by advertising. In the future, Naughty-Net may add paid Premium Services & Stores, but all the current features and functions will always remain FREE! |
| Why is my profile page messed up?(has strange music/sounds/graphics on it) |

Your Profile page may suddenly change and/or appear messed one or more of the following reasons:
- You added some HTML or CSS code to your Profile page improperly (i.e., forgot to close a tag, etc.)
- Someone else added an HTML Comment on your page. While only you have secure access to edit your own Profile page, others can place HTML code when leaving you a Comment on your Profile page.
If you think you have caused the problem yourself through improperly implementing HTML or CSS code on your Profile page, simply troubleshoot your code to determine where the error is, and fix it.
- In the worst-case scenario, you may need to remove all your HTML coding (DO NOT delete your Profile), and start your HTML coding again from scratch.
- If the problem lies in a Comment that someone else left on your page, you can attempt to identify which Comment contains the HTML code, and delete it from the list of Comments on your Profile page. Though there is not always an easy way of identifying which Comment contains the embedded HTML code, you can often narrow it down by observing when the problem first occurred... i.e., if everything was fine until Comment "X" was added, then try deleting Comment "X" and see if the problem is solved.
HTML in comments can be turned off in your settings, so people placing comments cannot mess up your profile in the future!

| I think someone hacked my account, I can't log in and things look different! |
- First, reset your password in the Reset Password page. Once you get your new password, you can log into your account and change the password in the Account Settings page. Make sure the password for your Naughty-Net.com account is never the same for your email account!
- If you can't log into your account at all, and you aren't able to reset the password for your account, we will need a salute (a picture of yourself holding a handwritten sign with the word Naughty-Net.com and your username) from you so we can verify you are the owner of the profile. Make sure to not post your salute in a public place, and send the web address of your salute and your profile to Naughty-Net.com here.
- If your background is different, html may have been removed because it contained faulty code. This is your chance to redesign your profile!

| How do I verify my e-mail address? |
| Why verify? Email verification helps Naughty-Net provide a safe and secure experience for everyone. Until you verify your email address, some of your actions on Naughty-Net,com will be limited. Check your welcome email for the verification link. If you didn't receive this message or accidentally deleted it, request another verification email here. If you have problems receiving email from Naughty-Net.com at your current email address or accidentally provided the wrong email address, change your address in your Account Settings. |
